CHIPPED Cookie was founded in 2009 by cookie enthusiast and mother of three, Marcy Young. Born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, she relocated at a young age with her family to Phoenix, Arizona, which became home. Her love of baking developed early on, influenced by an entrepreneurial father with an insatiable sweet tooth and a mother whose homemade treats turned every occasion into a special one.

College years away from her mother’s kitchen forced Marcy to explore her own world of baking and re-ignited her childhood passion for an honest to goodness, made-from-scratch, chocolate chip cookie. Unsatisfied with overly-sweet, flat, zero texture cookie recipes, she began to develop her own version while marrying her high school sweetheart and juggling a teaching career.

Several years later she left the traditional classroom behind for more time at home with her children, turning her attention back to the oven and perfecting her recipe. Insisting on great texture, aroma, and taste, she searched for something beyond delicious; something to engage all the senses!

The result was a chocolate chip cookie that would become her signature confection among family and friends. Encouraged to market her baked treats, Marcy developed five additional flavors, each one unique, and all made with high quality ingredients, and of course, chocolate ‘chips’!

With her husband and cookie-lovin’ kids, she launched a business built on her passion for baking cookies. Wholesome, all-natural ingredients, creatively packaged and sure to please the most discriminating palates.
